Ombre Love

It feels like I haven't posted in forever. I just had to give you a sneak peek of my latest project. I worked on it all day yesterday.

I love ombre. Something on Pinterest inspired these colors.

Here's a look at the entire basket. Yes, it's another basket...and it's a large one.

I'll have to write the pattern up in a later post. Right now I have an interview to get ready for. Can you believe it? It's been a long time since I've had a serious job prospect. It's for a social worker position. If you don't hear another word about it...then you know that I didn't get it and I'm feeling crushed. But if I do get it...I'll let you know.

See you soon!

  6. I wish you all the best on your interview. I know how you feel, I have been unemployed for 3 years now. Odd jobs have gotten us by but it is rough. I love those colors, I would never have imagined putting them together.

    1. I know it's tough. I went out of work at the very end of 2007 to have my little Ireland...just working part time and what I sell on Etsy is not enough. I need 401K and more money.

The colors were inspired by ombre can cozy on Pinterest. I'll have to link it in the next post.

  7. Sending you big positive thoughts for your interview. Now you have made me want to make a big basket, I need to focus on my vest so I am going to pretend you didn't post this amazing basket.
